The Challenge of a Screenwriter in the Western
In the Western it's much different because the technology is much more simple we got horses and guns, basically. Every action the character takes has to be an expression of himself. So that's something that you can say is very, very true for the Western character,. But it's also true for all characters, right? You have characters explaining themselves in long monologues being delivered by a narrator. That's not a movie. I fall short in the West.
