Aristotle's Secrets of Sulla

The books of Aristotle had somehow fallen into the hands of irresponsible private collectors, shortly after Aristotle's death. They lay in obscurity for centuries, getting gnawed on by worms. Sulla took them in and to his benevolent custody, and he eventually brought them back home to Rome. This is the discovery from which more or less all of our manuscripts today of Aristotle's works ultimately descend.
