The word yoke hers is a its, an instrument for agriculture. It was this wooden piece that youod place on the top of a big agricultural animal and placed it over their shoulders. Jesus actually said, pharisees, you place a heavy burden upon their shoulders and don't even lift a finger to lift it off. That's what jesus says, the yoke is the issue, not the law.
