In daytime you do see shadow effects, because there actually is some sunlight that is imaged by th detector at the the midway infored w we look at night time. So if you will meet imaging immediately after at the sun has gone down, you will see some subtle affects to where land had been shadowed before. But sually, what wel be doing is imaging icely in the dead of night, where those effects will be dissipated,. and you wouldn't actually see the influence of shadows any more. In terms of the measurements hat you're making, are we talking about relative temperature within each scene, orre we talking about absolute temperature of the surface that you're looking at
