Build Your Own Authorization Service or Repurpose Something?

Trying to build something generically is challenging, to say the least. The challenge is there really aren't that many existing solutions out there. It's not like attemp late to build something and solve all the problems. Zanzibar are good at scaling authorization for deeply hierarchical, nested data on a global scale.
