The Rise of Unprofitable Companies in the Growth Equity Index

In 2012, over half of the companies in the growth equity index were actually unprofitable. That starting to uptick, we're back, you know, not quite to 50% at the end of 2022. My guess is as we track this quarter to quarter, which we will, my guess is that's gonna start creeping up,. And you'll see what happened basically kind of post-GFC happen again, that percentage of profitable high growth companies will go up.
