David Miskavitch was a Marine until he was I literally was born a Marine. He'd gotten pulled into a pyramid scheme called holiday magic that sold fruit-scented cosmetics and distributed leaflets saying Avon salespeople are not more goon squats. It is now taught in criminal justice courses as the most obvious pyramid scheme in modern history. Even the smallest things can be a part of a big change if you use every day, like everyday earbuds or low latency gaming headphones.
