norman baker is not a monarchist, but he does like the idea of having a head of state that isn't elected. He also thinks it doesn't make sense that some one can be born a prince, born a future king and married to become a prince or princess. The real problem i have with the monarchy is just the idea that in our modern world, pursuits of equality and social nobility are virtues.
