The Dangers of Being Black
America has always been a place where it has been inherently dangerous to be black. The danger is from systems and cultural ideas that are there to kill you. We don't like to talk about this in the way that it actually is. What white America is trying to figure out and have always tried to figure out is how to exploit and kill black people. So all of us sitting here, if a white man knocks on our door at 9.40 at night, there isn't a thought to kill him.
