The Future Can Influence the Past, but Not in a Symmetrical Way

There are two ways of thinking about retro causality and influences backwards in time. If you have separate independent arrows of causation, it can be hard to reconcile. In a more flow-based picture, events at different times would influence each other symmetricly. So the future could influence the past but not in that sense.
