The Benefits of Cold Immersion

The main benefit of the cold immersion is just decreasing the overall inflammation. So, what about when you immerse yourself in cold water in a cold tub? I think I read somewhere that you get a 250% increase in norapinephrine. Is there a particular time that you should be immersing yourself in water to get these effects? Well, the issue there is the convenience. You can't jump in a water bath between different sets of an activity or if you're on sides or off sides of the court in a game.
