There's a lot of behavior involved in managing your money for tipped employees. As a W2 employee, I like to say, when you go out, you spend whatever you have left over. People in the service industry spend what they have because they haven't set those systems up. If you are unbanked, then you can use something like an envelope system where you have savings goals written down on envelopes.
