The Benefits and Risks of Vaccines

The safety issues need to be further vetted and understood. We will have to see if there are any adverse effects on pregnancy when larger groups of women receive the vaccine. As we all know, RSV in the neonatal period can lead to very severe respiratory illness and compromise. So there's a potential benefit here and risks that have to be better understood and defined for us as a community. That is best done out in the open with healthy public discussion.
