The Sign of Cain

The word of God is frequently linked to a sign in the Bible. In Cain's case, you have the word of protection and another sign saying don't harm him. When Christ comes, he doesn't radically change how God deals with humanity. But he continues to deal with us the same way. He gives us his word and it gives us a sign.
