Is There a Qualification Period?

The most professional i've ever gotten o doing presentations is maybe about a week ahead of time, i start thinking about it and kind of figuring things out. I'm more like, you submit a title and wishy, washy abstract and don't bother me until like, two days before the talk. That's my style of presenting int i know it's like a, whatever word people want to use, hoidy toidy, privileged or whatever. But i feel like, i feel like theyr to be a check box. that's like, i have given more than 50 talks, and so get the fuck off my back, right?
