The Image and Likeness of Adam

There is this sense of a litany of death here because everybody who's included in this chapter is bearing the image and the likeness of Adam. And because of that, they meet the same end that Adam himself did. All except for one, which will get to which we'll get to in just a minute. Noah is he's the 10th one from Adam, everything in this genealogy is leading up to him. So it's like Adam now has a second Adam when Noah comes along. But things go terribly awry very soon, because just as Adam sinned, so Noah does as well.
