Dylan Lewis: Shares of Buzzfeed are down 20%. CEO Jonah Peretti announced the company is going to be shutting down its Buzzfeed news division, which is about 15% of employees. Lewis: I think that in a lot of ways, what we're seeing with Buzzfeed is kind of a sign of the times and a business that is caught in the crosshairs of a lot of different things right now.
Buzzfeed was in a rough spot even before the ad market softened.
