Is Analytic Philosophy a Realist Philosophy?
Maria: There have been certain cases of realism but like you mentioned MacDowell I wouldn't call it a realist. How would you account for that derida is not taught in the primary places of philosophy in the English speaking world when it's obvious that he's had a massive impact on social sciences and on culture as a whole? Maria: This is a huge idea which came along changed a whole lot of things and and it's not really there in the teaching of philosophy to students in Britain and North America because it challenges the basic notion of what analytic philosophy is about.
