"It gave me a real sense of who he was, you know, because obviously because of the age gap, we were never able to do things like that together," she says. "The trek into base camp, if you're into that kind of thing, you've got to do it." The film follows Mike's final footsteps through Namche Bazaar in northern Nepal. He and his family spent four weeks at base camp before setting off on an epic journey home.
