I call it the year of covid electronics, because i've had more lemons this year than i've had in many years prior. I think companies have good intentions when they design a good product, but then when they go and put all these integrated chips in, they don't either operate like they're supposed to. Or there's a bug, like you saw with the whole sound united thing, with the h d mi two point one issue. So some of the stuff is bleeding edge, and you can't always catch it.
