The Yage Letters

The Yage letters is what they popularized ayahuasca out of. Marlene DeRios was just barely starting her doctoral thesis writing about it at that same time. She said she regretted ever popularizing it because it had started this whole shamanic rape culture and stuff down in Peru. And then she was supposed to come on my show again and she ended up dying of cancer two months later before she could come back on.
