How Does Obesity Affect Your Health?
If you are morbidly obese and it's somewhere like 38, body mass index BMI or greater, you live, will live 10 years less shorter than that of a non obese person. Diabetes has gone up from 1% in 1970 to 8%. And so the cost of that is about two to two and a half times as much as somebody who's who's non obese.
