The Mario Movie

i feel like my reservations about the mario movie are entirely rooted in the fact that you could describe probably like 40 percent of the movie tonally and it would be completely ambiguous whether you're talking about guardians of a galaxy three or the mario film. The one thing that does stand out is tonally odd is that there is a lot of contemporary music, which i've heard from other people who have seen them. They kind of add more story to it than there is in reality and that's that's fine too. It just feels very like path of least resistance the entire thing.
