The Fear of Psychedelics

Around 60 to 70% of American boys, not Jewish, not Muslim, get circumcised in America. The reason why is the anti-masterbation hysteria of the early 20th century. But I still think that for the most part, that fear was not based on a genuine understanding of psychedelics. It was mostly just kind of a nebulous, sensationalist concern by people who didn't really get what was going on.
