The Deficient King James Version
The 1611 King James version did not become the most popular Bible for decades. Benjamin Blaney revises the King James version and publishes through Oxford his revision. That is the version that is followed by the overwhelming majority of publishers ever since then. Most King James versions today are based on one of these revisions and not on the 1611.
