How I Met a Guy When I Was in High School

In 2002 when I was about 15, I had just started grade 11 at the local Catholic High School in town out west, Queensland. After Googling him recently and finding out some really bad stuff about him, I decided to throw caution into the wind and get it off my chest. For context, I'm now a 36-year-old female and I live in Queensland, Australia. It was a bit of a whirlwind because he was my first real boyfriend and I didn't know how to act or whatever. This was the early 2000s, so mobile phones weren't really a thing and everyone in Queensland knew each other anyway. Ben was a nice guy but I wasn't smitten
