The Future of GPUs

Rock doesn't even depend on libc. It's just these like, you know, five functions or whatever you have to provide for memory management. However, having said that, that also means that it doesn't know what a graphics card is. So yeah, that would be tricky for rock to do, I think. And I feel like this is an area really ripe for innovation from languages because it's just way too hard right now.
