The Importance of Machine Learning

Chat-DP-2 was asked, what's the most cited paper in economics? It came up with the answer to the economic history of whatever it was by someone and someone published in such and such a journal. And I think once you are alert to that pattern, it starts looking less like intelligence and much more like freakishly good chess. We really want systems that have a richer kind of learning that actually understand concepts like, I don't know, harm for example.
