There are other guys who ve through like that very painful process of learning chinese. But the thing about it is that you didn't have to have that much pain, rightye? And i do think that's one area where i've generally been pretty good, even if sometimes the wayi achieve those goals was a little pathological. It's a tendency to approach languages aesthetically and what i mean by that is, we bring a lot of judgments, like aesthetic judgments, to what it means to be proficient in e language.
