The Evolution of Neoplatonism
Neoplatonism does seem to transcend what we could sort of understand as socio cultural religion and sects, for instance. I see it in modern paganism, especially, where we see concepts of the one behind the goddess and the God,. or archetypal worlds. From which everything else depends based on Plato's notion of the ideas of the forms. That views itself as neo platonic first.
