What's Going on in the Analytical Sphère?

In terms of the analytic sphere, i think there's some interesting work thatthere's going on. One analyst called a dicia cotari is looking at a pass prevention model which essentially looks to measure how players defend the space off the ball. And thiss leading into something we spoke about last week, in terms of that the tracking data and using a pitch control model. This would be where virger van dyke would really come into his own, i think, because his presence, or his positioning, will stop the opponent from getting to a lucrative area of space.
