So many millions of dollars were laundered through this ongoing scheme Andy Russo who is the acting boss of the Colombo crime family was kind of intimately involved. The pound strip of Islip just took it on paper that Dennis Hickey was no longer operating and that was the end of it they did no investigation of their own. They weren't exactly Johnny on the spot doing their due diligence and checking everything off. So he had a he already owned a lot of real estate Hickey not just his estate home but multiple homes and multiple undeveloped plots of land as well.
