The Modular Brain: An Alternative to Networked Organization

Many people have championed this view that we need a systems thinking that is networks oriented. Even though it's an alternative way of thinking about the brain that is now more and more popular, it receives quite a lot of pushback because it's quite difficult to test. But as we said just a little while ago, with recordings across multiple thousands of neurons across multiple brain regions, we're really now out of position to answer that question.
