How to Give Good and Bad Critiques
Students want you to give negative critique, but sometimes they want it so that they can argue back. Caricaturing good and bad behavior is one way i think that can help get us to behave better in our critiques. If a student has an itch to pick a fight, they recognize this just gets us off track from what we're trying to do on the bar stand. Have an open mind, consider everyone's advice that they're giving you because, i mean, they're taking their time to try to help you. But be honest with if this advice serves you or not.
