The Importance of Freedom of Speech
The first democracy was invented in 1780, five other nations had imitated it by 1865. Today there are 190 nations based upon our system. The foundation stone of our system is freedom of speech. All of the other freedoms depend on it. If we lose that, not only do we lose our democracy in this country, but the entire world. We're going to win. As long as I am breathing, you will not rule over me.
