N and harwits is one of the up and comingventure firms here in the valley. They've received grants, not investments, from v c firms like intry,. saint horrad's village global, s v angel and others. The firm has raised around 200 millions in these grants. This happens to me all the time - when you invest in a company, it gets syndicated two or three times by people who don't even know you're an investor. So i really think about that deeply every time I'm making an investment. In my mind,  you got to be careful what you put your name on.
