Is There a Recovering Christian Character in the S.T.E.?
Kierkegaard was so steeped in Christianity that it's hard to imagine dividing up the soul and quite the way Freud does. The notion of the id is actually in Plato's Republic, in book nine. It's the tyrannical and sort of tyrannic element in the soul. There's something that comes out in dreams when a person dreams about having sexual intercourse with his mother for example. And I think Kierkegaard is more like Plato there, but I don't talks about the demonic now maybe there's some way of making a connection between the demonic.
