The Importance of a Comforter
The word for comforter in its original Greek context, the word is pericletos. Another way to translate it would be advocate or helper or even counselor. One of the great roles of Christ through the Holy Ghost is to fix the memory of the pains of our past. It's one of the great gifts of God that heaven once obtained will work backwards and erase the pain and turn it into a blessing.
