Nellis Bombing Ranges

The F-16 is the world's most powerful fighter jet. It can fly at up to 500 miles an hour and has a range of more than 1,000 nautical miles. The U.S. Air Force flew it in World War II as part of its bombing campaign over Europe. In 1989 they were declared "the world champions" for their efforts on the Nellis bombing ranges. They are still competing today with other teams around the world.
