CHAPTER

Is There a Need for Anoscopy?

Most often, at day seven to ten, these are not very well defined collections. The other reason to go after it is if it's causing symptoms. These are the times that we often have to intervene on and try to drain them. In the case that there is a concern for infection, we might be forced to do something early on like a percotanous drainage. But for the other reasons, which is usually pain or intolerance, we try, if possible, to drag this to three to four weeks, and then offerd a mioscopic treatment - endoscopic siscastros or inoscopic necrosects.
