You wrote a piece for foreign policy right before russia invaded. You predicted that, despite all the reasons why it be a terrible dea, there would be an invasion. But i could not have predicted you're absolutely right, marshal. I think i'm in really good company in getting this wrong. The conscript army was not prepared for the fight. Was apparently, in many cases, not told they were going on a fight. And so the russian invasion has taken far longer than anybody could have imagined. It has gotten bogged down, in particular, outside keve.
