Is There a Constant Component of Dark Matter?

There is a force that is pushing the universe apart, causing it to expand at an accelerating rate. That thing we call dark energy. And then there's 26 %, which is dark matter. But what is incredible is that with knowledge of this one tiny sliver of the composition of the universe, we have had the capacity to figure all of the stuff out. It is fascinating, and it's a triumph.
