The Fed Has a Dual Mandatory, Right?

The fed has a dual mandate, right? This is the crazy thing. I mean, and those two mandates are almost a direct opposite. They need to control inflation and have full employment. Right now they're not controlling inflation. And if we head into a recession, typically jobs don't do well in a recession. So, you know, they're going to be failing on both mandates. A, i don't know what got into jerome powell's head why he would ever accept the second term in that chair. The poor guy, like i he could have acceted gracefully, but perhaps no one else was smart.
