The Asymmetric Warfare of the Right

I'm not quite ready to give up on liberalism or progress but it does prompt the nostalgic memory. I lost a bet to you about 15 years ago. The bet listeners was, Pat had written some sympathetic comments about the peak oil theory very popular back around 2005. And three years rolled around and oil prices were still high. But that's a different art. Your argument was beyond that which was never mind oil and resources. It's material progress is not filling the hole in our soul. That's the large argument you're making. Even if, as he says, my caveat is, I don't think we should entirely give up on Liberalism just yet.
