The BRICS Gold-Backed Currency Launches in August

A month ago, the Russian embassy in Kenya sent out a tweet about this gold-backed currency that the BRICS was going to launch. Now as we get closer, they're starting to walk it back. But what I would say to other readers is just because somebody says something doesn't make it true. You don't have to take it as absolute fact. Just because those politicians came out tomorrow or Donald Trump said it doesn't mean that the streets will be flooded with dollars.
