The Pros and Cons of Carbon Capture and Storage
There are only 33, 0 carbon capture and storage projects operating in the world. The capacity of those 10 is enough to sequester the emissions of just two Australian coal-fired power stations. 20 of them are actually designed to get more to pump carbon dioxide under the ground to get more oil out - creating more emissions. So we've got about 200 countries in the world and there are only 30 projects currently operating.
