Tim: Two of the things that we look for in thumbnails is how much time people are going to give your thumbnail and title. The other principle is that does it spark curiosity? Or does it create intrigue with a title and thumbnail together? Tim: Whichever title thumbnail pops the biggest question mark above someone's head is the one that's going to get the question. I guess the takeaway is push your comfort zones, because I feel like an idiot still just doing whatever, but it makes a big difference.
