The History of Hallei Maumau Mu Crater in Hawaii
Hallei Maumau Māu Crater is in Hawaii's Volcanoes National Park. It once contained an active lava lake, which has since collapsed. In the Hawaiian religion, it is thought to be the home of goddess Pele. All kinds of incredible volcanic sites can be seen on the islands.
