How to Benchmark Effectively

IBM is using user interviews to benchmark products against each other and the competition. The company uses a scale of one to 10 in order to measure how users feel about their product, but it can be hard to quantify because people are psychology behind why they give an answer. IBM does not reusing participants for these types of studies as there's no need to do that with competitive benchmarks.
