Do You Want an Echo for a Pulmonary Disease Patient?
I'm definitely deferring to our perioperative chief. With very little information about Brian, I would probably plan on updating an echo unless something really proved itself reassuring to me. And if presumably since he said that was years ago, we probably need to repeat. So one of the things that I see our colleagues across the board getting stymied by is the huge amount of gray zone that exists in the guidelines.
